Summer Smoothie Recipes

If you’re resolving to make some changes that will benefit your health, developing a smoothie habit is one easy way to make a positive change. And they’re especially yummy during the Summer, when sometimes all you want is just a quick snack on the fly.
 
1. Breakfast Smoothie

1 x handful oats
2 x tbsp mixed berries
2 x tbsp yogurt (we like Glenisk, but Alpro fine too)
1 x tbsp Crunchy Nut & Seed Butter
½ cup Almond milk (or dairy if you prefer)


 
2. Green Smoothie

– 1 apple
– 1 cup of fresh spinach
– 2 x tbsps Yogurt (We like Glenisk, but can use Alpro or whatever)
– 1 cup of water
– 1 Dollop of Crunchy Nut & Seed Butter
– Top with some of your favourite ProMix

 

 
3. Energiser

– 1 handful of strawberries
– 1 Banana
– 1 cup of almond milk
– 1 Dollop of Hazelnut & Cocoa nut butter

 

 
4. Protein Recovery Smoothie

– 1 handful of spinach
– 1 apple
– Tiny bit of grated fresh ginger (as much or as little as you like)
– 1 tbsp of Crunchy Nut & Seed Butter
– 2 tbsp of Greek Yogurt
– 1 handful of ice cubes

 

 
5. Hazelnut Espresso Smoothie

1/2 x cup of Almond Milk (or dairy if you prefer)
1 x teaspoon of instant coffee
1 x tbsp Hazelnut & Cocoa Nut Butter
1 x banana, chopped and frozen

 
Method:

1. Chop a banana and put it in the freezer for an hour (at least)
 
2. Throw the banana into a blender along with the Hazelnut & Cocoa nut butter, instant coffee and almond milk.
 
3. Serve sprinkled with ground coffee or ProMix
