Quick Hummus Dip
Ingredients (4-6 servings):
1 x tin of chickpeas (400g)
2 x heaped tbsp Wyldsson Crunchy Nut & Seed butter
1 x clove of garlic (crushed)
Juice of half a lemon
1 x tbsp olive oil
Pinch of sea salt and pepper
Optional – Try one of more of…
Handful of fresh parsley
Oven roasted small red pepper or garlic
Red Chili pepper or Chilli Sauce
Spoon of Curry powder
1. Drain most of the liquid for the chickpeas and chuck into a food processor or blender
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blitz until smooth. Not too smooth though, it needs a bit of texture!
3. Want a different flavour dip? Experiment! Have fun with it… try adding a little chili to heat things up a bit.
4. Serve drizzled in olive oil beside plate of sliced carrot and cucumber. Or add to your Wyldsson Yogurt & Topper cup for a healthy, on-the-go snack!
