Forget about Ben & Jerry’s… these are so much nicer AND healthier!
The odd ice cream is great, but at the same time you’re trying to keep your sugar consumption down a bit. That’s what’s so great about nut butter bites – they’re a delicious healthy treat that give you that indulgent ice cream vibe with none of the added sugar guilt.
These freezable silicone trays are ideal for making them. They’re made from silicone, so it’s really easy to pop out the bites once you take them out of the freezer. They’re dishwasher proof too, so you can just chuck them in the dishwasher and get on with your life.
Making nut butter bites is really easy – all you need is…– A Ripe banana
– 3 tablespoons of nut butter
Method:
1. Mash the banana with a fork
2. Add some nut butter and mix well (roughly equal parts banana and nut butter)
3. Spoon into the tray
4. Pop into the freezer (takes about 2 hours)
