Healthy Ice Cream
If you like ice cream, you’re gonna love this recipe! Lots of supermarket ice-cream is packed with high fructose corn syrup. THIS is packed with goodness – and the best thing is that as well as being totally delicious you’re getting in extra protein as well as one of your 5 a day!
Ingredients:
2 x bananas, chopped and frozen
1/2 x ProMix refill tube of Almond Milk (or dairy if you prefer)
1 x tbsp Hazelnut & Cocoa Nut Butter
1/2 x ProMix refill tube of Cherry & Dark Chocolate ProMix
Method:
1. Chop 2 bananas and place them in the freezer for an hour (at least)
2. Throw the frozen banana into a blender (Nutribullet is ideal) along with the Hazelnut & Cocoa nut butter, ProMix and Almond milk.
3. Blend, shake well and maybe stir, and blend again.
PS: This recipe works REALLY REALLY well! If you only have a different nut butter or ProMix, don’t let that hold you back! Be creative.
PPS: Speaking of creativity, try subbing out some of the Almond Milk for Bailey’s / Kahlua / Tia Maria! 😉
