Healthy Brownie Recipe

Yes this is gooey and chocolatey like a brownie should be! Just without the white flour and refined sugars. Made using sweet potato, I know you’re thinking that’s absolute nonsense… But it really does work and tastes so good it fooled a 3 & 5 year old! You need to try.

Ingredients:

  • 80g GF Oat Flour
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 2 small/medium sweet potato
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 80ml of Plant milk (Alpro etc.)
  • 50ml water
  • 1 ripe banana large
  • 40ml of honey or maple syrup
  • 2 scoops Wyldsson Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 65g Hazelnut & Cocoa ProMix

Method:

  1. First peel and chop your sweet potato into cubes. Boil until soft
  2. Add the sweet potato, banana, milk to a bowl and mash (I used a potato masher)
  3. Next fold in the oat flour, cocoa powder, ProMix, salt and Wyldsson Chocolate Protein Powder
  4. Pour in the honey and 50ml water until it’s turns into a thick gooey mix
  5. Pour the mix into your silicone bar tray or use a lined tin with greaseproof paper
  6. Bake for 40 minutes at 180C. The top should crisp up and the inside/underneath will stay soft and gooey.
  7. Allow to cool on a wire rack fully before slicing
